We were commissioned by Bloomberg Bussiness Week to create a Dove / Hawk for the story on Janet Yellen and her flight to be the Federal Reserve’s first female chairman. “If she get’s the job, Yellen will convey that she has the head of a hawk and the soul of a dove “. These creatures are a bird of a different feather and we really enjoyed making them.

Four girls ventured out from new york to discover Atlantic City! We started out in a bus line with a $30 round trip ticket from Penn Station. Three hours later we arrived on the board walk! After checking in, we cruised the chic and tasteful lounges Revel had to offer. It didn’t take long until we discovered how to play roulette and lost $80 bucks. Spirits still souring, we tried on our tinniest little black dresses and skirted down to Royal Jelly Burlesque club where we danced the night away to roll & rock and confident babes. When morning came, we craved for something meaty and hardy. We stumbled upon Atlantic City’s best kept secret Tony Boloney’s. One bite of his famous cheesesteak and we were hooked. We ended up taking three subs back with us in our bags back to NY. Long afternoon walks on the boardwalk followed by a Yolo shirt souvenir, kept the mood light and innocent. We have nothing but love and good vibes for Atlantic City and are still thinking about that cheesesteak!

Our good friend Ashley Benzwie and Arielle Tayar spent the past year filming the documentary U R Not Alone. Over the last year, the two have followed a local man on his path to self-destruction through alcohol, drugs, and false hopes. The documentary is about the unlikely friendship that develops between the two young women and this alleged criminal. Please make sure to check out their video and contribute what you can in order to get their story officially produced!!

We are COMPLETELY OBSESSED with decking out our style using intricate glass doll eyes we found! Etsy seller Amanda Martin has hundreds of different colors, shapes and sizes to choose from. With a little hot glue, string, needle and thread you can use the eyes to make a custom button, a nifty pin or a cool bracelet like how we did below!

We just spent an afternoon in the Chelsea floral market. Our favorite stretch is on 28th street between 6th and 7th. Check out some of our favorite finds!

We love Aritzia‘s spring stock. Check out this illustration I did for their site!

Surf’s up! I just took a quick surfing trip to Rincón, Puerto Rico with our friend Rebecca Willa Davis. Rincón is a laid back surfer town on the west coast of the island. Later on we drove down South and explored part’s of the Guánica Dry Forest. There we loaded up on armfuls of air plants for friends back home!

Let’s get back to basics. Remember in kindergarten when you would make butterflies and heart prints out of a potato? Well, we have been putting the potato back in action! Click on this DIY to find out how you can use a potato to make some pretty sophisticated prints!

We just blew up the set deign for Micah Cohen’s SHADES of GREY AW 2013 presentation. This line has the perfect mix of classic cuts, color blocking and retro athletic flair. We designed twenty grey triangular platforms throughout the space, creating a minimal geometric environment that highlights the line.
